Today turned out not to go as planned, it was a long drive that wasn’t helped by the fact that the very activity we came to do to break up the day turned out to be shut.
The weather in Washington state has been as we expected, rather overcast and a few showers. This was true for every day except the day we left for Alaska when it was 27c (81f), which didn’t help as we had to dress up warm so we were boiling, and this morning which started off sunny, only to turn a tad chilly and rainy in the afternoon, this weather sure does make us feel at home 😉
It was a long drive in the end today, some 317ish miles. We had tried to take a cable car ride over the waterfalls at Spokane, however it was shut when we got there. Deciding we needed to hurry on we headed off and made it just into Idaho at a small town called Coeur D’Alene.
